The World Health Organization (WHO) is the United Nations’ specialized agency for health, providing leadership on global health matters. WHO has its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland with 6 Regional offices and 140 Country offices, more than 12,000 staff and a budget of USD 4.4 billion for 2008-2009.

WHO has established a new Global Service Centre (GSC) in Malaysia which will provide support and services to its offices worldwide in IT, Procurement, Human Resources and Finance. The GSC is located in Cyberjaya. WHO is recruiting now and is seeking the highest calibre candidates to join this new dynamic team on a 3rd party contract with Jobstreet.com Sdn Bhd.

Finance Assistant - 3 months Contract
RM 3200
(Selangor - Cyberjaya)

Responsibilities:
The incumbent is responsible for providing support in:

A) Expenses:

• Process Claims and ensure correct accounting entry 
• Prepare payment for claims
• Reconcile banks Accounts and GL

B) Account Payable:

• Process suppliers' invoices 
• Process payments for invoices
• Update staff and suppliers data

Requirements:

-Candidate should be at least a SPM/STPM/Certificates/Diploma/ Degree holder or higher educations
-Possess at least 3 years of experience particularly in finance.
-Good command of English, both written and spoken
-Knowledge in ERP/Oracle System is an added advantage
-Must be able to work in Cyberjaya
-3 months contract position (subject to extension)
