The Consumer Research and Resource Centre (CRRC) is a member of Forum Air Malaysia and provides consumer research services in water and sewerage related sectors. CRRC's primary role is to undertake research on consumer behavior, impact of government policies on consumers and the general public. Financial literacy, children and food security is central to all research undertaken by CRRC. The CRCC also focuses on collecting materials related to issues of consumerism and food security. The Centre is a company limited by guarantee on 16 September 2008.

Responsibilities:
- Consult and collaborate with Research and Policy team to identify Annual research priorities and resources
- Undertake consumer specific research activities and in line with sustainable development goals
- Design survey questionnaires/survey forms
- Analysing and interpreting data from research activities
- Facilitate field work and assist in other research activities at urban poor areas
- Write research findings into reports, policy papers and other documents
- Prepare and present research finding at periodic meetings and events
- Undertake database searches, literature reviews and key stakeholder interviews
- Assist with the development of the ‘Needs and Barrier Analysis’ and identify program and research requirements
- Provide timely and relevant feedback to internal and external stakeholders to assist in decision making
- Regular and timely updates on project status and findings
- Managing all research records and reports and ensure they are all up to date and easily accessible / retrievable
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.Advantage for candidates with qualifications in Marketing, Statistics or Social Sciences. Interest in psychology and behaviour
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Strong existing computer skills with Microsoft Office, general internet and electronic communication. Skills in SPSS statistical software is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills are a must
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia;
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skill
- Matured, committed, self motivated and responsible with good working attitude
- Must be willing to travel extensively – Peninsular and East Malaysia
